How it works

From booking to your notes

  1. Book and pay. $197 CAD, one time, on Stripe, a secure payment page. Use an email you check. Your time, Zoom link and notes go there.
  2. Send us a few times. Your session page asks which days and times suit you.
  3. We confirm one time by email. Within one business day, with the Zoom link.
  4. You meet Jonathan on Zoom for 50 minutes. Just the two of you, on your task.
  5. You get your notes. The next day, by email, with your next steps.

What to bring

  • One task from your business. The job you keep putting off. A rough idea is enough. Not sure which? We’ll pick one together.
  • Your Business Snapshot, if you made one. It’s the short summary of your business from our free guide. It helps, but you don’t need it.

Meet Jonathan, our guide.

He’s the person you’ll meet on Zoom: an educator, designer and developer. He works through your task with you, explains each step, and writes up your notes.

We’re in Edmonton, AB, and we meet on Zoom, so you can join from anywhere. We help small business owners in Canada use AI with confidence. AI is the tool. You stay in charge.

Questions before you book

I’ve never used ChatGPT. Is this for me?

Yes. Jonathan shows you each step, at your pace. You don’t need a ChatGPT account for the session. If you’d like your own afterwards, he’ll show you how.

What happens in the session?

You start with your task. Jonathan shares his screen, and you work on it in ChatGPT together. Stop him any time. Your camera can be on or off. Near the end, you look at what you can do next on your own.

What do I need?

A computer, tablet or phone with internet. A computer is easier, because you see more at once. You don’t need a Zoom account. On a phone or tablet, the Zoom link asks you to get the free Zoom app, so tap it the day before.

When can we meet?

Sessions run Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time, and some evenings. Most happen within a week or two of booking. If we can’t agree on a time, you get a full refund.

Can I move or cancel?

To move or cancel, tell us at least 24 hours before your session. We’ll find a new time or refund you in full. With less notice, or if you miss it, we’ll offer one new time, once.

Will it be recorded?

Only if you ask. Want a recording? Tell Jonathan at the start. We keep it for 28 days, then delete it.

Does what I share stay private?

It’s a private call, just you and Jonathan. We use what you share only to help with your task and write your notes. Anything typed into ChatGPT goes to ChatGPT, so leave out passwords, card numbers, and private details about your customers or staff.

What if it doesn’t help?

Didn’t get your session or your notes, or the session didn’t help? Ask for a refund from your session page. We review every request and reply by email within one business day.

Session terms

In short: $197 CAD for one 50-minute session on Zoom, and next-day notes. You pay first, then we agree a time.

Who we are. “We” and “us” mean SmallModern, in Edmonton, AB. Your session is with Jonathan, our guide.

What you get. One private 50-minute session on Zoom with Jonathan, and next-day notes with your next steps. We work on one main task. If we finish early, we’ll look at another.

Booking. After you pay, you send us a few times from your session page. We confirm one by email within one business day, with the Zoom link. If we can’t agree on a time, you get a full refund.

Moving or cancelling. To move or cancel, tell us at least 24 hours before your session. We’ll find a new time or refund you in full. With less notice, or if you miss it, we’ll offer one new time, once. To tell us, reply to any email from us.

If we have to move or cancel. You choose: a new time, or a full refund.

Running late. We use the time that’s left and finish at the booked time.

Paid twice by mistake? Tell us, and we’ll refund the extra payment.

Recording. Want a recording? Tell Jonathan at the start. We keep it for 28 days, then delete it.

What not to share. Please don’t share passwords, or card or bank details. Leave out private information about your customers or staff, like their health or money details, and anything private from an employer. Anything we type into ChatGPT together goes to ChatGPT.

If it didn’t help. Didn’t get your session or your notes, or the session didn’t help? Ask for a refund from your session page. We review every request and reply by email within one business day.
