SmallModern, in Edmonton, AB, runs this site. Here’s what we keep when you use it, and why.
The short version
- We keep what you send us only to do what you asked.
- We never sell your information.
- Card payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Tip emails come only if you sign up. Every one has a link to unsubscribe.
- You can ask to see or delete your information any time.
What we collect, and why
- The free guide: your email address, and your name if you give it, so we can send you a link back to the guide.
- The contact form: your name, email, business name if you give it, and your message, so we can reply.
- Tips by email: your email address, and when you signed up, so we can send you tips and deals.
- A 1:1 session: your name, email and what you share to get ready, like your task and your times. Stripe takes your card payment on its own secure page. Recording is optional, and deleted after 28 days. We quote your feedback only with your yes.
- Visiting the site: the pages note simple things, like which page you opened and which link brought you here, and keep small notes in your browser. This helps them work, and helps us improve them.
We use a few trusted services to run this website, our forms, email, video calls and payments. They only use your information to do that work.
Your choices
- Tip emails: unsubscribe any time, with the link in every email.
- Your information: to see it, fix it or have it deleted, send us a message through the contact form. We must keep a few records by law, like payment records for tax.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
